OFFERS IN WANGANUI DISTRICT

Homes For 110 Children WANGANUI, June 25. Eighty-three homes have been offered "in the Wanganui district 'to accommodate 110 refugee children.. Offers have been received from Wanganui, Patea, Alarton, Waverley, Wangaehu. Makirikiri. Mangamahu, Foretell and Turakina. The majority of the offers have been made for the duration of the war, and 22 people who have offered homes have grown-up families. Some have stated that they are willing to adopt children, and others state that in the event of the parents being killed they will be prepared to continue to keep the children and educate them.
