WELLINGTON ACCIDENTS

When he was caught in a sling while working on Queen’s Wharf, Wellington, yesterday afternoon, Mr. T. Jackson, wharf labourer, 119 Owen Street, received an injury to his left ankle. , A lacerated wound on his scalp was received by Mr. L. J. Goldie, tinsmith, 1 Matai Road, Hataitai, when he was struck by a hammer when riveting at the premises of A. and T. Burt, Limited, Courtenay Place, yesterday afternoon. The injured persons were taken to Wellington Public Hospital by the Free Ambulance.
