PARENTS' ASSOCIATION

Wellington East Girls' College Representatives of the old girls’ as-' sociatiou and the . women’s auxiliary and Hie principal, Miss N. G. Isaac, attended the monthly meeting of the Wellington East Girls’ College Parents’ Association. Mr. IV. F. Stock presided. The report of the women’s auxiliary included an offer to the principal to give assistance in cases where girls could not attend tlie college because of the war. The question of securing a film projector for college use was re.ferred to a sub-committee for a further report. It was resolved not to hold a dance this year. Arising out of a recent inspection of the grounds by the committee, it was reported that it would be possible to make provision for extra tennis courts on the spaces available. Consideration of this matter was deferred till later iu the year.
