BIRCHLEY.—On May 28, 1940, at her late residence, 44 Lombard Street, Palmerston North, our loving mother, Helen, widow of the late Joseph James Birchley, in her 85th year. A devoted mother gone to her rest. PETERS.—On May 27, 1940, at Waipawa, W. G. Peters, beloved father of Elsie Weston and grandfather of Beryl, George and John, in his 89th year. Passed away peacefully. RICHARDSON.—On May 28, 1940, at Wellington Hospital, Richard Buckingham Trindall, of 51 Grafton Road, Roseneath, beloved husband of Gertrude, and father of Trindall, Aileen, Thelma, and Laurie; aged 64 years.
