Miss June Hislop, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Hislop, Karaka Bay, who is studying home science at Otago , University, is spending her vacation in Wellington.

Mr. J. 0. Sanders (Kuala Lanipur)', Officer-in-Charge of Railways Transportation, Federated Malay States, and Mrs. Sanders, have been visiting Akaroa and staying with Mr. Sanders’s uncle, Mr. G. AV. Leete. Mr. and Mrs. Sanders, who llw from Singapore to Sydney, are spending their furlough in Hew Zealand and Australia. After a lour in the south they will visit the North Island.
