Tlie first J. A. Campbell Memorial award for the most successful student iu the intermediate examinations of the Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture has been to Mr. J. W. Goodwin, Christchurch. This is announced in the Inst illite's journal, which states that, an award of books will be made each year from interest on the memorial fund.
