Wellington, having passed the necessary examinations, has been awarded the Diploma of the Royal Institute of Horticulture. Mrs. B. Coates, Palmerston North, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. G. Shirtcliffe, Wellington, is the guest of her mother, Mrs. G. Lyons. Palmerston North. Dr. .Marion Steven, of Canterbury University College, Chrislehurch, is spending the college vacation witli her mot her, -Mrs. D. Steven, Stratford. Wanganui visitors to Wellington include Mrs. W. Meikle and Mrs. M. S. Thorpe. Miss W. Anderson, Hataitni, Wellington, is visiting Mrs. D. 11. Cook, Palmerston North.
