SCOTTISH HARRIERS

Members or the Scottish Harrier Club were the guests at au invitation run held ou Saturday from St. John’s Church Hall. Johnsonville. About -10 members turned out, :t notable return being that of the veteran A. L. Stevens. A trail of about GJ miles over real cross-country district, was set. Those who caught the eye were J. Riddiugton, who appears to be regain-

ing some of his old dash; Bartlett, S. Woodley and C. Bruce. These four appear certainties for the club's team, which has been entered in the Christchureh-Akaroa road race, to be run oil' the King's Birthday weekend. The other places in the team, on present form, should be filled by A. Bourgeois. R. Yiolich, J. Garty, G. Foster and Busby. The club will be the guests of the Methodist club next Saturday In n run from Northlaud Methodist Church.
