Men’s Society Conference Begins Today

Dominion Special Service WANGANUI. May .13.

About 60 delegates will attend the annual conference of the Church of England Men’s Society, which is to begin in Wanganui tomorrow. The Bishop of Wellington, the lit. Rev. 11. St. Barbe Holland, will preside. Visitors will be welcomed at a social gathering tomorrow night, followed by compline, at which Archdeacon .1. R. Young will be the chaplain. The conference proper will begin on Wednesday, when the opening address will be delivered by the Bishop of Waikato. I lie Rt. Rev. U. A. Cherriug ton. A feature of the conference will be :t Procession of Witm-ss on Thursday night, when bishops, clergy and ehureh members will march through the streets. Afterward festal evensong will be held in Christ, Church, where the'Bishop of Aotearoa, the Rt, Rev. I-. A. Bennett, will be the preacher.
