"it is not generally known that a trailer is required to have a warrant of fitness,” said a traffic inspector in the Magistrates’ Court, Hamilton. The owner of a car and trailer was prosecuted on this count, and also for not having his car equipped with a mirror giving him vision beyond the trailer. The motorist was convicted on both counts and was ordered to pay costs. The case was the first of its kind heard in Hamilton.
