FATAL ACCIDENT

Man Knocked Down By Motor Truck (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HASTINGS, May 3. A waterside worker. Mr. Jeremiah Folev. single, aged about 35, a resident of Port Ahuriri. Napier; received fatal injuries when lie was knocked down by a motor truck at Port Ahuriri this evening. Mr. Foley was one of a party ot. four men crossing a street. The others stepped back on' the approach of the truck. Mr. Foley continued, and was knocked down. He received a fractured arm. The injuries at first, did not appear io be serious, but shortly after admission to hospital Mr. holey died from severe internal injuries.
