WELLINGTON ACCIDENTS

Two pedestrians were injured yesterday as a result of walking into moving trauicnrs. Mr. G. Burns, fencer, 16 Kent Terrace, received slight head injuries and concussion, and Air. J. AlcLauglilin, head injuries. Both accidents occurred in Manners Street, one at ■1.40 p.m. and the other at 5.25 p.m. When lie was struck by a railway wagon at the railway yards about 4 p.m. Mr. A. Smith, shunter, 124 Aro Street, received abrasions to his forehead and concussion.

Peter Bartlett, scholar, aged 13. Main Road. Day’s Bay, received abrasion to his face and concussion when lie was knocked down bv a car at Day's Bay at about .1 p.m. All the persons injured were taken to hospital by the Free Ambulance.
