Store Sheep Easier At Gisborne Sale BEEF DEMAND QUIET Dominion Special Service. GISBORNE, April 27. Fat sheep values were unchanged at the Gisborne sale today, but an entry of 3700 store sheep found the market easier. The best price for breeding ewes was considerably below ewe fair values. A good entry of beef met only a quiet demand. Prices:— Fat sheep: Ewes, to IG/7; medium lambs, to 15/3; second-grade ewes, 10/2 to I_ sm're sheep: Lambs, extra, 14/- to 14/8; good 11/G to 13/7; ewe lambs, 14/10 to 17/6: breeding ewes, good two-tootlis, 19/u; mixed ages to four-year, 16/-; five and sixyear, 13/- to 15/1: empty ewes, top. lines. 10/4 to 12/-; wethers, a solid pen with manv freezers, 20/-; good, 17/6 to 18/7. Cattle: Best station cows, £6/10/- to £6 15/-; Jerseys, £4/15/- to £4/19/-; station heifers, to £5/17/-: Jerseys, £4/11/-.
