WAR COUNCIL
Allied Leaders Meet In London FRANCE, BRITAIN AND NORWAY (British Official Wireless.) (Received April 28, 7.5 p.m.) RUGBY, April 27. The ninth meeting of the Supreme War Council was held in London today. France was represented by the Prime Minister. M. Reynaud, and the Minister of War. the Navy and Air, MM. Daladier. Campinchi and Laurent Eynac, who were accompanied by M. Corbin, General Gamelin, Admiral Darlan, and General Vuillcmin. Britain was represented by Mr. Chamberlain, Lord Halifax, Mr. Churchill, Mr. Oliver Stanley, and Sir Samuel Hoare, who were accompanied by Sir Alexander Cadogan, Air Marshal Sir Cyril Ncwall, and Admiral Sir Dudley Pound. The Norwegian Government also took part in the discussion.
The meeting of the Council was held in continuation of the meeting in Paris earlier in the'week. In a short session the Council reached unanimity in a number of questions arising out of the present phase of the war. The Council considered various situations that might arise in the near future, and took note of measures planned to meet those situations.
