FRENCH PREMIER

Great Personal Triumph LONDON, April 18. The French Prime Minister. M. Reynaud. scored a great personal triumph during the secret session of the Senate which began on Tuesday morning and ended this afternoon. He spoke for over an hour, and reaffirmed the Government's determination to win the war. No vote was taken, but Senators expressed their support and approval by prolonged applause from all sides of the House. The demonstration was repeated a little later when the Senate met in public- session. M. Reyn'aud's triftmph followed statements by the Ministers of Armaments. Air. and Marine.
