Pharmaceutical Benefits (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, April 18. A decision to urge on the Government the necessity for immediate steps to be taken to redeem its pledges to introduce medical and pharmaceutical benefits under the Social Security Act was made at the annual conference of the Auckland District Mam Chester Unity Independent Order ot Oddfellows. , , It was stated that members of Cabinet had said that all was in readiness to introduce pharmaceutical benefits in particular, but nothing had been done. It was agreed to ask the New Zealand branch of the society to support the conference’s request and to invite other friendly societies to make similar representations.
