The Provinces DOGS ATTACK SHEEP Wairarapa Farmer’s Heavy Losses Heavy losses through dogs worrying sheep were suffered b.v a farmer, Mr.'A. L. Burgess, Matarnwn, on Wednesday night. Six ewe lambs were killed and 34 injured, some seriously, b.v a pack ot marauding dogs. ()ne dog was caught in the act of worrying and shot, and another has since been destroyed. It is stated that the owners of mher dogs have been located. The lambs killed were part of a Hock which was to have been used for breeding. New Bobby Cull Pool.

The formation of a bobby calf pool in the- Pahiii'im and Ekelaluitta districts i s to be undertaken following a m'-eting of directors of dairy companies operating throughout the territory.
