RECRUITING RALLY IN INVERCARGILL
Steel-Helmeted Troops
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, April 18.
A detachment of 250 men from Burnham, wearing full battle-order dress, marched through' the city streets this afternoon and evening as a prelude to a recruiting rally which was held in the'Town Hall. A huge crowd watched the parades and cheered the steel-hel-meted troops as they marched through the main strets, led by LieutenantColonel A. S. Falconer and Major D. F. Leckie.
