The Berlin radio announced that a telegram from General Franco to Herr Hitler stated: “On the first anniversary of our victory wo rememlber with affection German help and co-operation. We will devote special remembrance to those who died for our crusade. Best wishes for your prosperity and for the noble German nation.”
