CHRISTCHURCH, April <5.

An assurance was given at the annual conference of tlie South Island Motor Union today that there would lie no further restrictions on petrol but that if consumption dropped below 6.000.01)0 gallons a month there was a likelihood of some relaxation. After discussing holiday supplies the conference decided to recommend tbe Government to issue coupons on a twomonthly basis.
