WELLINGTON SKETCH CLUB
Mr. Sidney Higgs, a well-known Wellington artist who recently returned from a tour abroad, gave his impressions of some of the art galleri.es he had visited, in many parts of the world, at a recent meeting of the Wellington Sketch Club. The chairman. Mr. C. T. Laugesen, thanked Mr. Higgs on behalf of the club. Mr. Laugesen commented on the success of the Sketch Club Exhibition at the Centennial Exhibition, and said he thought it very gratifying that the public was taking such a keen, interest in the work of the 'Wellington amateurs.
