Mrs. Mein, who came to New Zealand from England with high qualifications, is the league's official instructor of teachers of lip-reading. She ’Will describe a new electrical apparatus ac- * ipiired from abroad by the league in Auckland for ascertaining the pitch of the speaking voice of deaf persons.
