Jordan, said he had been impressed by an advertisement in "The Dominion” Hint morning in which two books.. 1 "How to Take the Chair” and “How to Conduct a Meeting,” were offered, each at 3/-. He wondered whether the proceedings of the conference prompted Hie advertisement. If anything lie had said caused disappointment to delegates, lie apologized. He had only wished to expedite the meeting. It was easy to prolong the business, and this (to the mayor of 'Wellington, Mr. Hislop) kept the delegates away from the Exhibition. Mr. 11. T. Morton, Te Kuiti: If anyone can learn to conduct a meeting as well as Mr. Jordan for three shillings, it’s cheap at the price.
