Run Cattle In Demand At Feilding Sale Dominion Special Service. FEILDING, March 8. A strung demand resulted for run cuttle at today's sale in Feilding. The high prices ruling for the quality lines of mutton were easier, though store sheep held firm at about late rates. Fat sheep: Tlie entry in this section was larger than that of the previous week, and, though prime-finished lines held at fairly steady prices, inferior quality sorts were backward. Prime heavy lambs made 23/- to 24/-, second grade 20/6 to 21/3, light 16/- to 19/9; extra prime wethers 24/2 to 25/-, prime 23/- to 23/9, lighter prime from 20/-, unfinished 19/8; extra prime ewes 16/t« 17/-, prime 14/- to 15/7, unfinished 12/- to 13/9; prime maiden ewes 22/to 23/7. Store sheep: Lambs were in heavy supply here, but where the quality was good they sold well. The better class of breeding eyes held firm, but failingmoil til sorts were hard of sale. Fat and forward A.A. steers made £lO/8/-, second grade £9/10/-; two-year A.A. steersi, £8 lo £B/8/-, others £6/17/6 to £7/12/6; well-grown 18-month A.A. steers, £5 to £5/10/-, smaller £3/16/- to £4; A.A.-Hereford steers, £5/11/- to £5 IS/-; good 18-month A.A. steers, £5 10/-; Red Poll ol.eers, £4/10/-; Ayrshire •steers, £4/10/-; forward A.A. cows and heifers. £6/10/-; A.A. cows, £5/4/- to £5/1.3/-; two-year A.A. heifers, £6/2/-; weaner Jersey heifers, £2/12/- to £3 7/6; works cows, heavy £4/2/6, others £2/17/6 to £3/12/6.

Fat cattle: Prices for beef held firm at unchanged rates, a large penning meeting witli n satisfactory demand. Prime heifers made £B, second-grade £6 to £6/18/-; ex-dairy heifers, £5 to £5 17/6; prime cows. £7 to £7/12/6, light prime £6 to £6/1.8/-; ex-dairy cows, £4 5/- to £5/1.5/-; runners. £3 to £3/15/-; vealers. 10/- to 32/-.

Dairy cattle: Only a few head of inferior quality springers were offered iu this section, and values were low. Springing heifers made £2/10/- to £3/10/-; springing cows. £3/12/6.

Pigs: High prices again prevailed for pigs, all grades selling freely. Good weanets made 17/-. small from 7/-; slips, £l/1/-; porkers, £l/13/- to £2/10/-; sows. £2; boars, £l/10,L. Poultry jirices are: Hens, 1/2 to 3/-; cockerels. 9d. to 2/7; ducks, 2/- to 2/11 ; geese, "/-
