Five Welcomes To City In A Day A. day of extending “most cordial welcomes" was described by the mayor of Wellington, Mr. Hislop, to the Municipal Association conference last nightAt 10 a.m. yesterday he welcomed delegates to the town clerks’ conference in (he Town Hall concert chamber; at 10.30 a.m. he visited the Ce;ilcnt;ial Exhibition to address the motor-body and coach-builders’ conference, 'i’lien hewent to the Art Gallery to welcome the inasler bakers of New Zealand in con I’erence. From there ho went to a hall on The Terrace to speak to delegates to the plumbers’ conference. That night ho extended his iiflh welcometo delegates to the Municipal Association conference.
