GENERAL LEAVE SOON
Troops Of The Second Echelon Dominion Special Service. AUCKLAND, March 5. Although the official announcement has yet to be made, it i.s stated that just as the members of the First Echelon of the Second New Zealand Expedlitiouary Force were granted general leave for Ciirisltmas and New Year, so the Second Echelon will have leave over the Easter holidays. In order to avoid congestion on the railways, Hie troops' will leave the camps at Papakura, Hopuhopu. TrenlJiam. and Burnham in three drafts, the departure dates mentioned being March 13, 14 and 15 respectively. 'With a fortnight of leave for each draft, the dales ou which the drafts will return to camp will be March 27, 2S and 21). As was the case with the First Echelon, and with the reinforcement drafts in the last war, each man will be given free tran.sjxirtation between his camp and home or place of enlistment. It. is also expected that tire grant of £3 made to each man before he proceeds on leave will be repeated.
