Harbour Board Employee Killed (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, .Marell -I. Crushed and knocked into the water when an overhead bridge at the Western A'iuduet descended. James .Malcolm Harris, of Devmiporl, employed by the Harbour Board, died on tlie way to hospilal today. While tlie bridge was raised lo allow a launch to tow a barge out, .Mr. Harris went under tile bridge to replace a pin in the stop arm. He was still there when tlie bridge was lowered, and he was crushed and knocked into the water. William Doherty,. an a ppreul iee. and George Mains, wagon driver, dived into the harbour and held .Mr. Harris till picked up by a launch. Mr. Harris was married witli live children.
