Wellington Branch Meets The Wellington branch of the Royal Society of St. George has had a successful year, the membership haying increased considerably, according to the report submitted to the third annual meeting held recently. It was decided that till women members should form themselves into a committee to perform patriotic work in conjunction with the St: John Ambulance Society. The following motion was unanimously adopted: “That ajl members of the Wellington branch of the Royal Society of St. George stand behind the Government in its effort in conjunction with all other parts of the British Empire in slipporting Britain and France to the utmost of their resources in the war against German aggression.” It was decided that all members who had joined the forces should retain membership without, subscription till the end of the war. The following officers were elected: — President. Mr. J. E. Hunt (re-elected) : vice-presidents. Mrs. A. D. Houston. Dr. E. P. Houghton, Commander G. D.
