Patriotic Tournament The tournament held jointly by the Newtown, Island Bay, and Seatouri bowling clubs, in aid of the Patriotic Fund, proved a great success. The three greens were occupied to their full capacity throughout the day. The greens winners were: — Newtown (Nicol. Kober. Dunean, Cubitt, skip). Island Bay (Haigh, Nicholls. Bryce. Parsons, skipl. Seatoun (Nicol, Chisholm. Green, Hill, skip). In the play-off, Newtown beat Seatoun. ami went on to beat Island Bay in the final.
