Hall AVatson gave an interesting talk on General Evangeline Booth, of the Salvation A.rmy ' A competition for -the making of a shoulder spray of flowers in ten minutes followed : Airs. P. Bisset was first, with Airs. Alacrne second. Mrs. A. J. Anderson, Dannevirke, gave an instructive demonstration on the making ot rubber mats, egg-shell pictures, and the painting of glass with art enamel. Airs. Tattle moved a vote of thanks to Airs. Andersoin which was carried by acclamation. Airs. Etz was the winner of the best pot of raspberry jam, with Airs. Carrad second.
