Ewe And Lamb Demand At Feilding Uncertain PIG INQUIRY STRONG Dominion Special Service. FE'ILDING, February 9. A heavy yarding of approximately 10,000 ewes and lambs met with an uncertain demand at the Feilding sale today, lamb values being downward in trend because of the wide range in quality. Ewe prices were difficult to awsess, but were probably below those expected at next week’s ewe fair.
Fat sheep: A rather short entry of mutton found a quiet market, with quotations for wethers firm on those of tlie previous week. Prime lam,bs also sold well.
