PENNANT BOWLS
Positions Of Clubs Sixth rounds in the 'Wellington Bowling Centre’s pennant competition will be played today. Though there are only six rounds of section play, the third round, which was postponed because of inclement weather, remains to be played. It will ibe held on February 17. Following are the positions of the clubs in the pennant competition with the points they have won: — Section A: Wellington A, Lyall Bay, 7; Eastbourne, Newtown, 6; Hataitai, 5; Central, Wellington B. Victoria, Hutt, Island Bay. 3; Khandallah, Karori, 1. Section B: Hutt, Hataitai, Kelburn, 7; Seatoun. Woburn, (>; Lyall Bay, Thorndon. 4; Island Bay. 3 ; I’etone, 2; Khandallah, Wellington. 1; Victoria, 0. Section C: Hataitai, 8; Karori. 7; Thorndon, -Petone, 6; Kelburn, Island Bay. 4; Seatoun, Newtown. Victoria, Porirua,-3; Wellington, 1; Woburn, 0. ■Section D: Wellington, 8; Hutt, 7: Newtown. C; Thorndon. Upper Hutt, Johnsonville. 4; Kelburn, Lyall Bay. Petonc, 3; Central, Porirua, Karori, 2. Junior Pennant. In the junior pennant competition Seatoun and Wellington are leading section A with 6 points: Johnsonville, Eastbourne. Khandallah. Lyall Bay, Kelburn and Island Bay having 4 points, and Woburn 2 Wellington is leading section B with 8 points, Newtown having 6, Woburn, Petone, Lyall Bay and Hutt having 4, and Karori 2.
