YUGOSLAV DESTROYER SINKS

Captain Taken Into Custody ROME, January 25. The new Yugoslav destroyer Ljubljana struck a reef at Sebenlco and sank. The French wireless states that the captain of the Ljubljana has been taken into custody pending an official inquiry. The reef tore a big hole in the side of the Ljubljana. The destroyer tried to make port, and sank close to the shore, to which some of the crew swam. Others were rescued by fishing boats. All were saved except one engineer.
