“THE KINGDOM OF GOD”
During the first days of February the Wellington Catholic Players will present a play that in theme and charadcr will be Noinelhing entirely novel and original to Wellington audiences. It is “The Kingdom of God,” the work of Gregorio Martinez Sierra, one of ibe foremost dramatists of modern Spain, translated into English by the Gr/piville-Barkeis. This remarkable play centres on the lile and development of Sigler Gracia, a nun i»J the Order of Charity. 'Though religious in tone, there is nothing feeble or prudish in the play : it is a slice of life and a very true picture of different types ol human character.
