NATIONAL FLOWER SHOW
Progress reports on the national centennial flower show, which will be held in the assembly hall at the Exhibition next week, indicate that there will be a very fine display in all classes. Growers in the many districts throughout the Dominion have shown a ready co-operation, and the entries already made in the decorative, nurserymen’s and florists’ sections give promise of a wealth of colour and artistic merit, which will make more than one visit to the show well worth while. Indeed, tlie show should be one of the principal attractions at. the Exhibition next week. The show will be officially opened by Sir Harry Batterbee. High Commissioner for the United Kingdom iu New Zealand, at 2.45 p.m. next Tuesday, and it will remain open to the public till 10 p.m. on that and the following day.
