Wellington Market Quiet LITTLE INTEREST SHOWN Business was extremely quiet on ’he Wellington Stock Exchange yesterday and a small turnover was: recorded. Less interest was shown in Government stocks but quoted prices were fully firm. A parcel of 4 per cent, stock, 1940-43, sold at £lOl/5/-. Banks were quietly steady. Financials and gas were dull. Insurance shares held firm and buyers advanced to DO/- for standards. The inquiry for industrial and trading issues was slack, but quotations showed little or no change.
