R.A.F. PHOTOGRAPHS

Flights Over Germany

Photographs taken by the R.A.F. iu reconnaissance flights over Germany have been released by the Air Ministry aud reveal many remarkable details. Included are excellent pictures of the aerodrome at Hanover, the seaplane base at. Sylt and the naval base at Wilhelmshaven. Details of the work of the R.A.F. coastal command have also been released. These show that German submarines were sighted on 10G occasions and 66 attacks made. From dawn till dark the patrols carried out their work to ensure the safety of shipping. 'That German submarines have learned to respect these attacks is shown by the fact that they rarely come to the surface now in tlie localities patrolled by these aircraft.—By radio.
