Bluff Reservoir Bursts (From “The Dominion,” Jan. 25, 1915.) When the Bluff Harbour Board’s reservoir burst on Friday it was full to the brim, as a result of more than three inches of rain falling during the previous ”4 hours More than 6,000,000 gallons swept through Western Bluff, doing thousands of pounds’ worth of damage. The port is now without water for either fire or shipping purposes. The reservoir is situated at an altitude of 300 feet at the back of the town.
