UNIVERSITY AWARD
By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, January 20. For the sixth occasion in succession, the Alffcmillan Brown prize, competed for by students of the New Zealand University, has been won by an Otago student, this year’s winner being Aliss Catherine Passmore. The prize, valued at £25, is awarded to encourage literary work. Aliss Passmore’s entry, under the pen-name of “Tempus,” was a poem entitled “Flight of Time.”
