LINER MERKUR STILL AGROUND

SYDNEY, January IS.
The Burns, Philp liner Merkur is still fast aground on, the coast of the Northern Territory. Attempts to tow Tier off Ute reef failed. The Tulagi and the Burns, Philp liner Marella are now standing by. The weather is calm and the Merkur is in no danger.
