Supplies To Japan And Russia LOS ANGELES, January 17, The California Oil Producers’ umpire, Mr. William R. Pemberton, giving evidence before a Congressional committee, said that over 77,000 barrels of oil and petrol for aviation purposes had been sent to Japan daily for months past. The December shipments amounted to over 110,000 barrels daily. Exports of aviation petrol to Russia had increased since the invasion <>!' l-'iidaud.
He added that, oil producers felt that it was good business to deal with Russia and Japan.
