ORGAN RECITAL

An organ recital will be given by Mr. Maxwell Fernie in the Town Hall, Wellington, next Sunday night, beginning at 8.30 o'clock. The assisting artist will be Mr. Ray Trewern, tenor. A feature of the recital will be the inclusion of a group of items for strings, and a group from the “Nutcracker Suite,' Ts'ehaikowsky, which has been transcribed for the organ by Mr. Fernie. Other items will be the Prelude and Fugue in D Major, Bach, and a toecata by IVidor, as well as short numbers by early composers. Mr, Trewern will sing, accompanied by the organ, the ever-poipular “Omibra Mai Fu,” and “Total Eclipse,” _ both by Handel. Other tenor solos will be * Lena Me Your Aid,” Gounod, and’ "A Dream, Grieg, Mr. B. McMillan playing the accompaniment to these on the piano.
