Ministerial. The Hon. P. Fraser, Deputy-Prime Minister, will pay a visit to Auckland this week, the first since his return from London. He will be tendered a civic welcome by the mayor, Sir Ernest Davis, tomorrow afternoon. Mr. 11. B. Lusk, Auckland, arrived iu Wellington on Saturday. Air. Clyde Carr, M.P. for Timaru, is spending a few days on the West Coast. The Rev. W. M. Smailtield, vicar of the Wanganui parochial district, is visiting Auckland. Mr F. K. Hunt, accompanied by Mrs Hunt, left Auckland on Saturday for a week’s fishing at Rotorua. Air. C. W. Boswell, M.P., and Air. If W. Schramm, M.P., arrived in Wellington from Auckland o.i Saturday. Air C. R- Bach, physical welfare oflicer attached to the Internal Affairs Department, is visiting Auckland.

Rev. Father E. Lyons, Thames, has arrived iu Auckland after making a holiday visit to the Dutch East, Indies.

Air. R. G. Milligan, Auckland director and attorney of the .Martha Gold Alining Company (Waihi), Ltd., will shortly relinquish bis position to take up a' commercial post in Australia. Mr. Alililgan was apopinted local director and attorney to the original Waihi Gold Alining Company, Ltd., out of' which the Martha company was formed, after lite death of Mr. Charles Rhodes in 1932.
