MISHAP ON CROSSING
Electric Train And Van Collide A butcher's van was fairly extensively damaged, but the driver, Mr. A. Thornley, escaped with an incised wound to the forehead and concussion, when a collision occurred between the van and an electric train at Hie Kbaud,'tllab crossing early on Saturday afternoon. It is stated tll.lt Hie train bad just left the station and was travelling at a slow speed. No delay was caused in Hie service. Mr. Thornley, who lives in Cashmere Avenue. Klmmlallah, was taken to hospital in the Wellington Free Ambulance. 1
