Conn, world light-heavy weight boxing champion. 17311 b-. unimpressively beat Henry Cooper. Brooklyn heavyweight, 1901 b., on points. In spite of the punches Conn lauded, be could not put tlie plodding big fellow on the lloor. Conn’s plans are now uncertain. The bout, ivas to have determined his fitness to meet Joe Louis. Cooper recently lost a close decision to Gunnar Barlund.
