COLLISION WITH POLE

Motorist In Hospital Dominion Special Service. \APIER, January 11. When the car he was driving left the road and crashed into a telegraph pole at Bay View this morning, Mr. Roy Haines, aged 31, Putorino, received head injuries which necessitated his admission Io Napier Public Hospital. His condition tonight was reported to life satisfactory. The crash occurred about 500 yards on the Napier side of Bay View police station. The car was extensively damaged, and several telephone wires were brought down by the impact.
