CZECH DIVISIONS
Formation Likely Soon
LONDON, December 21
The Foreign Secretary, Lord Halifax, and Dr. Benes, President of Czechoslovakia, have exchanged letters establishing a Czechoslovak national committee in England. Dr. Benes made a statement that it was hoped shortly to form two divisions. He added that the persecution in Czechoslovakia was indescribable. Germany had concentrated in the country 300,000 soldiers, excluding members of the Gestapo, a portion of whom were maintaining order.
