(Oxon.l, M.A. (Oxon. and Cantab.), Professor Jenks was a Fellow of the British Academy, Emeritus Professor of Law in tlie University of London, and one-time editor of the “Independent Review." He wrote many works on law and British history and two publications on Australian and New Zealand history.
