Longer Term For Bergdolf

NEW YORK, October 6.
A military court sentenced Grover Cleveland Bergdolf, the millionaire draft-dodger in the Great War, to three years’ imprisonment for escape and desertion. The sentence is additional to that of five years which lie is at present serving.
Last May Bergdolf, America’s most notorious conscription evader, returned after 1!) years’ exile and was immediately imprisoned. Two months after he started serving a five-year sentence in 1918 for conscript ion evasion, he escaped and lied to Germany. He attributed his return in May to lioiiie-siekncss.
