Welsh Society Meets.
Tlie Welsh Society held its usual monthly social recently at the Green Club rooms, Lambton Quay. Mrs. Collie presided over a large gathering, and new arrivals from Barry were welcomed. The songs and daneing items of the young pupils of Miss Ngaire. Keys were much enjoyed. Games and competitions were held and items were given by Mrs. G. Thompson and Mrs. Janson. Supper and the singing of the two National Anthems concluded a pleasant evening.
